William Farrin

William Raymond Farrin, 71, died at his home Sunday after a long illness.

He was born July 17, 1902, at Akron, I owa, and moved to Sioux City when 17. He married Mary Abbott of South Sioux City in 1928.

A truck driver for Kaplan Wholesale Grocery and Collins Van and Storage Co., Mr. Farrin was a member of the General Drivers, Warehousemen and Helpers Union Local 383 and of the Cathedral of the Epiphany Catholic church.

The body was taken to the W. Harry Christy Funeral Home in Morningside.

Ray Farrin

Services for Ray Farrin, 71, will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Morningside Chapel of the W. Harry Christy Funeral Home.

Msgr. L. J. Hoffman of the Cathedral of the Epiphany will officiate. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. A Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. today.

Mr. Farrin died Sunday at his home after a long illness.

He is survived by: two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Joyce) Jewell, Soda Springs, Idaho and Mrs. Conrad (Glorya) Newell, downy Iowa; three brothers, Linard (Leonard) MaGaee (Magee) and Theodore Farrin both of Sioux City and Ralph Farrin, Aloha, Oregon; and three sisters, Mrs. Nell Fletcher and Mrs. Jessie Erwin both of Sioux City, and Mrs. Magie (Maggie) Abbott, Mission, Tex.

Also surviving him were seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
