Mrs. Bessie Mae Comar, of Sioux City, died at a hospital there Sunday evening, March 9, 1942 (actually 1941), after a brief illness, aged nearly 40 years.
Mrs. Comar spent her early years in Akron, being born here May 2, 1901, a daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. Wm. R. Farrin, now of Sioux City.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald R. Comar; four daughters, Betty Jean, Geraldine, Ruth and Roberta, of Sioux City; her parents, four brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services were held this (Thursday) afternoon in Sioux City, and interment in Logan Park cemetery there.
