MRS. GEORGE THOMAS BURIED AT HINTON
Funeral services were held Thursday, Dec. 5 at the Cogar Church by Rv. Farrington for Mrs. Della Maud Thomas who passed away Dec. 3rd at the age of 53 years, 11 months and 15 days.
She gave her heart to God and was united to the Methodist Church at Cogar a number of years ago.
Maude Fisher Thomas daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Marlin Fisher was born near Abilene, Texas. Coming to Oklahoma in her early childhood, where she lived until her death.
She married to Worth Miller in 1914 to this union one daughter, Opal Miller McDowell was born, who preceded her in death.
In 1920 she was married to George V. Thomas. They had four children, Leonard going to his reward at the age of 18 years.
Surviving her are her husband George Thomas, William Jr., Lucille and Marybelle Thomas. Two brothers, Lester Fisher and Tom Fisher; four sisters, Mary McCrea, Mattie Willis, Bettie Schrantz and Hattie Bowman.
Pallbearers were Gus Kerlick, W.M. Taylor, John Allen, Julian Phelps, Carl Wilson and Hubert Doke.
She was laid to rest in the Hinton Cemetery.
