MARY ELIZABETH MCCREA

Mary Elizabeth McCrea was born March 28, 1883 in Saline Co. Missouri. She died March 16, 1965 at the age of 83 years, 22 months and 24 days.
She made her home with her daughter in Enid for the past 5 years. At the time of her death she was visiting a son in Chickasha.
She was a member of the Baptist Church at Keyes, Okla.
She was married to Emmitt L. McCrea, Sept. 23 1903 at Hazel Dell, Okla.. To this union was born 4 children. Her husband preceded her in death in Jun 1941. One son Raymond Alton McCrea passed away in November 1959.
Survivors are one daughter Mrs. Buna Charles of Enid, Okla.: two sons, Melvin of Keyes, Okla., Luilbron of Chickasha; one brother Tom Fisher of Minco, two sisters Mrs Betty Schrantz of Minco, Mrs Hattie Bowman of Sapulpa, 13 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; other relatives and a host of friends.
Services were held a 2 p.m. Friday, March 19, 1965 at Hazel Dell Church, with Rev. J.J. McDaniel officiating. Burial was in the Hazel Dell Cemetery.
Pallbearers were J.E. McCrea, Monty McCrea, John McCoy, Eldon Charles, Jack Hilldebrant, Frank Wallace.
Music was furnished by Johnny McDaniel, Ernest Cobb, Marvin Koerner, Mrs W.E. Humphrey, Mrs Ben Cheek, Mrs Calvin Overton, and Leroy Kirkegard with Mrs. Edward Meyers at the piano. Their selections were "Never grow Old", "Precious Memories" and "When the Roll is called up Yonder".
