Ethel Louise “Rusty” Abraham, 88, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2020 in Sagle, Idaho. Rusty was born on May 20, 1931 in Monticello, Indiana to William and Anna Sweet. She moved to Sheridan, WY and attended Sheridan High School. At this time she fondly added her stepfather’s name, Earl Music, to her own and called herself Sweet-Music. Her first three husbands were Raymond Suchta, Norman Wootton and Kenneth Bartlett.

Rusty married the love of her life, Eugene “Bud” Abraham at the Laclede Community Church in 1995. Rusty worked in the restaurant industry for many years. She was best known for her famous soups at the Klondyke Cafe in Laclede, before retiring at the age of 72.

She enjoyed teaching her children and grandchildren how to cook her special recipes, peanut butter fudge and chicken dumplings. She also enjoyed playing cribbage, reading books, word puzzles, cooking shows, game shows, crime shows, scary movies, and spending time with her children and many grandchildren in Idaho, California, Arizona and Washington.

She is survived by her two sons Raymond (RaeAnna) Suchta of Phoenix, AZ, James Robert (Ann) Wootton of Renton, WA; three daughters Vicky (Ron) Elisalda of Cherry Valley, CA, Ann (Cliff) Brown of Moreno Valley, CA, Rusty (Mike) Bartlett-McKitrick of Sagle, ID; special daughter-in-law Gloria Suchta; 23 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, numerous great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She also raised seven step children.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four husbands, two brothers and sister-in-laws, two sons: Kenneth Bartlett Jr and Bill Suchta; grandson Randy Renfroe; great grandchildren Zayla Rae Pilato and Xavier Suchta; special son-in-law Robin Clayburn Sr.

Viewing will be held at 10 a.m. prior to services at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 8, 2020, at the Lakeview Funeral Home in Sandpoint, Idaho. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. A potluck will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2020, at her daughter Rusty’s home, 203 Algoma Spur Road, Sagle.
