Mrs. Mary E. Hulgan, 81, a former Sioux Cityan, died Tuesday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. C. R. Pruden of Indianapolis. Mrs. Hulgan was born February 11, 1879, in Lucas county Ia. She was a past president of the Ladies of the G. A. R., in Des Moines. She resided in Des Moines and later in Sioux City. She left Sioux City about a year ago. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Pruden and Mrs. Gail D. Hartman of Sioux City; a son, Harry A. of Albuquerque, N. M.; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. The body is expected to arrive here Thursday and it will be taken to the Perasso Bros. funeral home.

Graveside rites for Mrs. Mary E. Hulgan, 81, former Sioux City resident who died Tuesday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. C. R. Pruden of Indianapolis, Ind., will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Graceland park cemetery. Rev. Donald K. Sinclair of the First Congregational church will officiate. The body was scheduled to arrive at Perasso Bros. funeral home here Thursday where it will remain until time of services.
