Ruth Margaret Aardsma Denny
Port St. Lucie - On January 25, 2021, Ruth Denny went home to Glory!
Ruth Margaret Aardsma Denny, 88, went home to Glory on January 25. She was born March 9, 1932, to Allen and Clara Aardsma in W. Sayville L.I. N.Y.
Ruth, upon graduating high school, enrolled at the State College of NY in Oneonta where she received her Bachelor's in Education. It was there she met her husband, David Albert Denny, whom she married on June 21, 1953. In 1956 David Allen was born and in 1958 Cynthia Lee joined the family.
Ruth went on to receive her Masters's in Reading. She taught kindergarten, Special Education, and Remedial Reading at schools in Oneonta, Portlandville, and Milford Central School. She retired after 34 years of teaching.
Ruth's greatest joy in life was her family and her love of teaching young children. It was important to her that her children come to know, and love her Savior, Jesus Christ.
She is survived by her brother, Phillip Aardsma of Port St. Lucie FL; her son, Rev. David Allen Denny of Massillon, OH, and her daughter, Cynthia Parido of Port St. Lucie, FL. Also, grandchildren Roberta Jo, David Andrew, Timothy Joel, Paul, and Jeffrey; and great-grandchildren Emma, Caleb, David Alexander, Anna, April, Kennedy, Amelia, Titus, and Henry.
