MOUTH OF WILSON -- Mabel Blevins Absher, 79, of Mouth of Wilson passed away Friday, March 13, 2015 at Bristol Regional Medical Center, Bristol, Tenn. She was the widow of Sam Absher.
Survivors include three daughters and a spouse, Judy Sizemore of Helton, N.C., Penny and Mike Sizemore of Mouth of Wilson, Pam Absher of Bristol; three sons and spouses, Larry and Becky Absher of Whitetop, Tim and Becky Absher of Mouth of Wilson, Ken and Mary Absher of Marion; three step-daughters and a spouse, Roseann Greer of Lansing, N.C., Phyllis Stamper of Rural Retreat, Macy and Marcy Culbertson of Chilhowie; two step-sons, Scott Absher of the home, Mac Absher of Independence, two sisters and spouses, Faye and Clifford Roop of Whitetop, Joann and Harley Lewis of Rugby; four brothers and spouses, Dayton and Evelyn Blevins of North Wilkesboro, N.C., Kent and Omajean Blevins of Whitetop, Toby and Gency Blevins of Rugby, Jimmy Ray Blevins of Seven Mile Ford; step-daughter-in-law, Peggy Absher; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, 20 step-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The funeral was conducted March 17 at Faith Lutheran Church, Whitetop. Interment was in the Walls Cemetery, Whitetop.
