Mrs. Hixon passed away March 29,1996 at Steele Memorial Hospital. She was born on August 18,1898 in Salmon, a daughter of John and May Ann Lish Adams.
She grew up and received her schooling in Salmon. On February 15,1915 she married Floyd W. Hixson. The young couple homesteaded a ranch on Gertson Creek.
One daughter, Myrtle, was born to this union. They sold the ranch in 1962 and moved to town. Mr. Hixson died in 1979 and she continued to make her home in Salmon.
She is survived by her daughter, Myrtle Hixson of Saomon; and her nephew, Wesley R. Hixson of Saomon.
Burial took place in the Salmon Cemetery under diredtion of the Jones and Casey Funeral Home.
