Funeral services for Mrs. Pearl V. Kerin, 65,were held at the Jones & Casey Funeral home Saturday, Dec 22,at 2pm with Rev. Theodore Cox of the Salmon United Methodist Church officiating.
Mrs. Kerin died in Steele Memorial Hospital Dec 21,1973, after a short illness.
She was born in Salmon Dec 22,1907, the daughter of John H. and Mary Ann Lish Adams. She was the youngest child in the family.
Her schooling was received on Kirtley Creek and in Salmon.
On Dec 10,1924, she was married to Frank L. Kerin in Salmon. The young couple made their home on the Walter Fox ranch until 1934. At this time they moved to Salmon.
Mr. Kerin operated a machine shop in town for many years. He died in 1969.
She is survived by one daughter, Adell Coons of Yuma, Ariz;one granddaughter, Susan Coons; the following sisters and brother, Bessie O'Connell, Ruby Hixson, Elda Reneau and James Adams.
Two vocal solos were sung by Mrs. Elden Stokes, "In the Garden" and "Take My Hand Precious Lord." Accompanist was Mrs. Dean Stokes.
Pallbearers were Dwight Stevens, Harold Embree, Ed Waldal, Devon Burch, Elmer Buster and E.E. Holstein.
Vault interment took place in the Salmon Cemetery.
