The funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at Hunter-Allen-Myhand Funeral Home, with burial in Shadowlawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Brooks was born July 13, 1909, in Troup County, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward F. Polk. She was retired from the Dunson Division of WestPoint Pepperell and was a lifelong resident of LaGrange. She was a member of Dunson Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Danny L. Brooks of LaGrange; two sisters, Annie Ruth Abbott of LaGrange and Elsie Kelley of Pensacola, Fla.; a brother, James Polk of LaGrange; five grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
