Funeral services for Mr. Harold D. Martin, age 69, of Lake Providence, will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, November 6, 2005 at the First United Pentecostal Church of Tallulah with Rev. Greg Nicholas and Rev. Leroy Skipper officiating. Burial will follow in Providence Memorial Cemetery, Winnsboro, LA under direction of Crothers Glenwood Funeral Home, Tallulah, LA.
Mr. Martin died Saturday, November 5, 2005 at home after a lengthy illness. He was born in Sinton, Texas on January 10, 1936.
He was preceded in death by his parents Zack and Arvezener Martin and four sisters, Carolyn Delaney, Avis Acker, Ethel Brown and Ginger Guilbeau.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara G. Martin and three daughters Ina Miller and husband Keith "Bo" Miller, Lisa Martin and husband Glyn Martin, Sandra Wright and husband Kelly Wright and one son, Kenneth Martin and wife Nickie Martin. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, one brother, John A. Martin and one sister, Vera Williams.
Pallbearers will be Joseph Glass, Carlos Glass, George Glass, Dennis Glass, Teddy Glass and David Griffing. Honorary pallbearer is Glen Jordan.
