Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 8th for Zack Martin, 82, of Newellton. Rev. Don Thornton officiated at 2 p.m., in Flowers Landing Baptist Church.
Burial was in Legion Memorial Cemetery in Newellton.
Mr. Martin was a former resident of Marion. He died Thursday, Jan. 6th at St. Charles Hospital of Tensas Parish.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ina Martin, Newellton; two sons, Aubrey Martin, St. Joseph, Harold Martin, Marion; five daughters, Mrs. Avis Acker, Newellton, Mrs. Ethell Brown, Gilbert, Mrs. Vera Williams, Rayville, Mrs. Carolyn Dullaney, Rayville and Mrs. Ginger Sanders, Lafayette; one brother, Jewell Martin, Minden; one sister, Mrs. Carrie Williams, Minden; 23 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
