Born in Louisa County, the daughter of the late Col. and Mrs. W. C. Elam, she had lived in the Richmond community for the past 20 years, since the death of her husband, Newton C. Coyner.
She is survived by her daughter, with home she made her home, two sisters, and two grandchildren.
Mrs. Coyner was the sister-in-law of the late Mrs. Effie Showalter, of Waynesboro; Mrs. Harry Patterson, Mrs. Oscar Henkel, and A. Vastine Coyner, all of Waynesboro; and E. Kemper Coyner, of Marion.
Funeral service will be held tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. at Trevilions, Virginia.
