Miss Bertha Broom, aged 19 years, daughter of T. B. Broom, died Sunday night at the family home one and a half miles north of Oak Ridge. Influenza followed by pneumonia caused her death. She was sick about one week. The remains were brought to Davis and interred in Green Hill cemetery Monday afternoon, Rev. Geo. E. Glasspool conducting the service. Miss Broom was popular in her large circle of friends and her death is deplored. The relatives have the sympathy of Davis friends in their bereavement.
