Death of W. L. Broom

Will L. Broom, Aged 25 years, youngest son of T. B. Broom, died at Wynnewood last night at 7 o'clock. The body was brought to Davis and buried in Green Hill cemetery at 4 p.m. today.

Mr. Broom was stricken with appendicitis Saturday night and operated on Monday evening, but his condition was such that the operation failed to save his life. He is survived by a wife and two children, ages 6 and 8 years. His wife is the daughter of W. J. Brashears. He also is survived by three brothers, Isaac A., Joe W., and Lutehr E. Broom, and five sisters, Mrs. Tom Brassfield, Mrs. Charlie Gallion, Mrs. Henry Williams, Mrs. Dug Brashears and Mrs. Ed Crawford. All these live in Murray and Garvin counties except Mrs. Williams, whose home is Porter, Okla.

The deceased was born at Fulbright, Texas, and came to Oklahoma in 1899, and has lived in and around this section since that time. The past year he has lived at Wynnewood. He was a well known and well liked young man, and had a host of friends who share the sorrow of the bereaved relatives left to mourn his untimely death.
