Funeral services were held at Wynnewood View cemetry last Thursday for Mrs. Alice Brassfield, age 63, who died at heer home at Sunshine 3 1/2 miles northeast of Davis early Wednesday morning, April 9. Mrs. Brassfield was a pioneer of the county, having come here with her husband, T.A. Brassfield about 30 years ago from Texas. Survivors include her husband, three daughter, Mrs. Jim Balcom of Arizona, Miss Jessie Brassfield of Sunshine, Mrs. Fay Palmer of Colorado; two sister, Mrs. Cass Gibbs of Healdton and Mrs. Ed Crawford of Davis; and three brothers, J.W. Broom of Oklahoma City, I.A. Broom of Iona, and L.E. Broom of Valley View. Dunn Funeral Home was in charge.
