Mrs. Jowers, 85, of Alexandria died at 5:30 a.m. Friday in Naomi Heights Nursing Home, Alexandria.
She was a resident of Alexandria and a member of First Pentecostal Church for 36 years.
Survivors include two daughters, Ora Garrett and Marcene Halford, both of Alexandria; one son, Marvin Jowers of Alexandria; one brother, Frank Pender of Natchitoches; one sister, Leola Aaron of Krotz Springs; seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Friends may call until time of services today in the funeral home.
