∼Henrietta, 94, of Ashley, died Tuesday at Carson City Hospital. Henrietta was born to Henry Orville and Anna Helen (Grabowske) Dotson in Merrill, Michigan. She married Floyd Abbe on December 24, 1936, he preceded her in death in 1974. She later married Dale Williams.
Henrietta taught elementary school for the Ithaca Public Schools. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, crocheting, cooking and loved to spoil her family.
She is survived by her husband, Dale Williams; children, Bettyann McNabb, Marvin Abbe, Wanda (Charles) Mullins; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; sister, Katherin E. Dotson; and brother, Floyd Russell Dotson. She is preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Abbe; parents, Henry and Anna; brothers, Jesse, Ernest, Wayne, Lewis, and Harry; and sisters-in-law, Lois and Patty Dotson.
Funeral services for Henrietta were Friday, April 16, 2010 at the Ithaca Church of God. Pastor Jim Conn will officiate. Barden Funeral Home in Ithaca was in charge of the arrangements.
