Fannie Pearl Graddy and her husband, Rueben Elonzo Finlayson, were greatly affected by World War II and the Korean Conflict. Three of their sons, Bill, Talmadge and Hugh, served in the military during WWW II and one, Jim, during the Korean Conflict.
Elonzo and Fannie Pearl had eight children born to their union. These children were; John Morgan, Ruby Pearl (Sister), William Travis (Bill), Talmadge Cope (Buck), Mary Ella (Mary), Hugh Kaigler (Hugh), James Durwood (Jim) and Jack.
Rueben Elonzo and Fannie Pearl are buried in the family plot of the Inverness Baptist Church Cemetery. Also buried in the plot are "Sister", "Buck", and "Hugh". John is buried in Montgomery, AL and Bill in Marietta, GA.
