Grover Cleveland Fergerson was born Monday, June 3, 1918 to John Burdell Fergerson and Mary Lou Hall Fergerson. ~ Mr. Furgerson

Grover C. Furgerson, 60, of Trinity, died Sunday night at Parkway Hospital, Decatur, after a sudden illness. He was a native of Lawrence County, a bus driver, a veteran of World War II and a member of the Church of Christ.

Services were today at 2 p.m. from the Calvary Baptist Church, Decatur, with the Rev. Dean Sims officiating.

Burial followed in Johnson's Chapel Cemetery with Spry Funeral Home, Russellville, directing.

Survivors include five sisters, Mrs. Revertie Smith, Moulton, Mrs. Onzolo Abbott, Town Creek, Mrs. Elmer Parker, Decatur, Mrs. Billy Letson, Danville, and Mrs. Jack Clark, Russellville; three brothers, Richard Furgerson, Fennel Furgerson, Trinity, and Hal Furgerson, Decatur.
