Daisy A Hanwick
Daisy A Hanwick, who retired from the Mobile County Public School System after 25 years of service, died at a local hospital Monday.
She was a native of Lexington, Miss., and a resident of Mobile for the past 50 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mobile.
She is survived by a son, Roy Edward Swan Jr. of Mobile; one brother, Floyd Abel of Warner Robbins, Ga.; five sisters, Betty Lee Chisolm, Kate Rogers and Vera Webster of Lexington, Nettie Halford of Belzona, Miss., and Clara Clark of Mobile; grandchildren and other relatives.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Thursday at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Mobile.
