Edna was born the oldest child of Ida and Peter A. Anderson and came to the Draper area with her parents in 1907. She attended school in Bode, Iowa and graduated from Augustana Academy in 1921. She taught school north of Draper.
She was married to Helmer Liffengren in 1923. To this union were born five children, twins Luverne and Louise, Ida, Opal and Norman.
Her husband preceded her in death by 25 years.
Mourning are her children, 18 grandchildren and three great grandchildren, one brother Paul Anderson, three sisters Selma Orr, Irene Anderson and Esther Kruse.
