Mrs. Martin Aaland Called in Death Monday Evening Mrs. Martin Aaland of near Hatton passed away Monday evening at her home west of this city. She had been ill for some time and the young woman was called to her reward, home to her Maker, August 13.
Mrs. Aaland was at the time of her death, 23 years of age, having been born May 28, 1904. She was before her marriage Miss Gina Groth, daughter of Iver Groth. Her mother preceded her to the great beyond a short time ago. She was united in the bonds of holy matrimony to Martin Aaland a little over a year ago and they have resided west of this city since.
She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, a father, Iver P. Groth and several brothers and sisters. No definite arrangements had been made at this time for funeral arrangements but it is planned to have the last rites the later part of this week. – Hatton Free Press, Aug. 16, 1928
