Janet A. (Lowe) Abbott, age 76, of Lithonia, was a native of DeKalb County, GA. Mrs. Abbott was a homemaker and was a member of the Women's Auxillary V.F.W. Post #05290 in Conyers and Glenhaven Baptist Church.

She is survived by: daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah and Tommy Hogeland of Conyers, Judy and Barry Seagraves of Chesapeake, VA, Pam and Alan Tucker, of Buckhead, GA, and Patti and Allan Sexton of Madison; sons and daughters-in-law, Fred K. and Terri Abbott of Conyers and Donnie W. and Janice Abbott of Decatur; 16 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; brothers, Tom Lowe and Bob Lowe both of Covington, Charlie Lowe of Lithonia, Joe Lowe of Conyers; sisters, Elizabeth Young of Conyers, Geraldine Plunkett of Decatur, Runelle Jackson of Monticello, Joyce Sinyard of Suwannee, FL and Harriette Housworth of Lithonia.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred W. Abbott and brothers, Aaron Scot Lowe and Horace Stewart Lowe.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday at Ward's Rockdale Chapel at 2:00 p.m., with Dr. Jim Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Green Meadow Memorial Gardens in Conyers.
