Elizabeth was the daughter of Edward & Amanda (Tipton) Taft.
She married George Gordon Ridgeway in Clifton, Cooper Co, Mo on October 11, 1917. By April 1930 Elizabeth had given birth to four children: George, Jr.(1919), Virginia Susan (1921), Robert W. (1924), & Dorothy S. 1925).
Elizabeth died from a Cerebral Vascular Accident one day after George had died. She was 70 years old.
Her daughter, Mrs. Sue Roussell, was the informant on her death certificate. Her body was transported to Heryford where she and George are buried in West Park Cemetery.
