Doris Ann Patterson, 51, daughter of the late Junie Acree and Mae Estes Acree, was born 21 Jul 1936, in Green Co. and died at 1:45 am Mon 16 May 1988 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. She was a member of the Greensburg Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher for 30 years and was also a member of the choir. She united in marriage to H.C. Patterson on 19 Jun 1954, who survives. To this union 2 sons were born: Gary Patterson, Greensburg and Tony Patterson, Russell Springs. She is also survived by 4 sisters, Jean Simpson, Horse Cave; Letha DeWitt, Greensburg; Jane McCubbin, Campbellsville; and Sarah Brockman, Lebanon; and a host of other relatives and friends.. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Bob Acree, Odell Acree and Cosby Acree. The funeral was at 1 pm Wed. 18 May at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home with burial in the Greensburg Cem. The Rev. Ty Clenney officiated. Pallbearers were Tommy Simpson, Richard DeWitt, William Early Milby, James Howard Patterson, Dickie Acree, Todd Brockman, and Richard Patterson.
