Ruby L. Yost, 86, of Newton, died at 12:18 p.m. Friday, July 1, 2011, at Galion Community Hospital in Galion, Ohio.

Mrs. Yost was born Sept. 25, 1924, in Richland County, the daughter of Robert and Leila (Schonert) Bailey. She married Kenneth Baker, Virgil Walker and Kenneth Yost.

She was a secretary, an abstractor for a local attorney and worked at the Weber Medical Clinic pharmacy. She was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Ste. Marie.

Mrs. Yost is survived by daughter, Sandra Lane and her husband, Ronald, of Galion, Ohio; son, Rick Baker and his wife, Julie, of Troy, Mo.; daughter, Janice Hubble, of Roanoke Rapids, N.C.; son, William Tab Walker and his wife, Vicki, of Newton; former daughter-in-law, Beth Walker, of Effingham; sister, Evelyn Mae Adami and her husband, Richard, of Washburn; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three husbands and children, Ronald L. Baker, Shirley Baker and Charles Walker.
