Aarons, 76, of Vidalia died at 3:45 p.m. Thursday in his residence.
He was a resident of Vidalia for 30 years and a native of Harrisonburg. He was a retired truck driver for J.M. Jones Lumber Co. and a member of New Ouachita Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Viva Poole Aarons of Vidalia; two sons, Douglas Aarons of Vidalia and Jimmy Aarons of Bridge City, Texas; three daughters, Jo Ann Beach of Vidalia and Judy Johnson and Dessa Johnson, both of Natchez, Miss.; two sisters, Mary Tucker of New Mexico and Lou Tucker of Monroe; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Alvin Wiggins, Jack Milligan, Eddie Beach, Donald Johnson, Curtis Roark and Nathan Roark.
Friends may call from 8 a.m. until time of services today in the funeral home.
