Maudie Aline Sorey Hull
Mrs. Maudie Hull, 95, of the Calhoun Community died Nov. 8, 2011 at her home.
She was a member of Pineville Methodist Church and was a homemaker.
Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Indian Springs Cemetery in Jones County. Rev. Kenny Smith will officiate. Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday at Memory Chapel.
Mrs. Hull was preceded in death by her husband, Therman O. Hull; her parents, John J. and Fannie Sorey; her sisters, Myrtis Richey, Gladys Abernathy, Zora Sanders and Pauline Sorey; and her brothers, J. D. Sorey, Hilbur Sorey, Wilbur Sorey and Paul Sorey.
She is survived by five children, Sue Mauldin (Jack), Carl Hull (Ellender), John Hull (Rachel), Buddy Hull (Linda) and Ronnie Hull (Linda Sherman), all of Laurel; two sisters-in-law, Ethel Terry of Magee and Genevieve Sorey of Pineville; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild, along with numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Kent Mauldin, Roddy Hull, Rickey Hull, Steve Ishee, Greg Hull and Michael Burchfield.
Memory Chapel of Laurel is in charge of arrangements.
