Died Friday, Nov. 30, 1984, at his residence in Blanks. He was 73, a native of Crowley. He was a retired rig superintendent. Visiting at Niland's Funeral Home, Livonia, 5 to 10 p.m. Monday. Religious services in the funeral home chapel at 10 a.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Miller Armstrong. Private graveside services.
Survived by wife, Mrs. Eva Kleinpeter Abbott, Blanks; two daughters, Gayle Abbott Wichers and Eva Sharon Abbott; a brother, Charles Abbott; three sisters, Elsie Belle Lindsay, Doris Elaine Benoit, and Luella Dozier Abbott; six grandchildren; a great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be George and Christ Dalrymple, Mickey Wichers, Mosby Lindsay, Charles Abbott, and Bobby Blanchard. He was a member of the Episcopal church, and Fordoche Lodge F&AM, Order of Eastern Star.
