Mrs. Nettie Hope Cook, daughter of the late Mr. John Van ARsdale and Mrs. Hattie Mae Lee VanArsdale, was born 22 Feb 1906 in Green Co., and departed this life at 11 p.m. Sunday, 4 Jan 1981 at the Metzmeier Nursing Home in Campbellsville. She was 74 years 11 months and 13 days of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of teh Greensburg Baptist Church at the time of her death.
She is survived by 1 son and 1 daughter; Robert W. Cook, Louisville and Mrs. Margaret Coomes, Campbellsville; 1 sister Mrs. Bonnie Abbott, Louisville; 2 brothers: Fred VanArsdale, Texas and Ned VanArsdale, WAshington, D.C.; 3 grandchildren: Gary Cook, Cal; Ronald Coomes, Va; l and Millinda Spencer, Campbellsville; 2 great-grand-children: Stephanie Spencer, Campbellsville and Jeffrey Wayne Cook, Frankfort, Kentucky and host of other relatives and friends.
The remains were at the Cosherd and Parrott Funeral Home where funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m.Tues 6 Jan 1981, with burial in the Lee Cemetery, Rev. Ben Spencer oficiated.
