Charles Edward (Ed) Rodgers, 77, Rt. 5, West Wayne St. Olney, died this morning at Richland Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Monday in the Memorial Chapel of Summers Funeral Home, with Rev. Herman Gumbel officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery at Albion. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Sunday.

He was born Sept. 22, 1902 in Richland County, son of Albert Rodgers and Ruth Morgan Rodgers.

He was retired from International Shoe Co. and General Mills at Kankakee.

He is survived by his wife Wilma, and the following brothers and sisters: Truman Rodgers Claremont, Coleman Rodgers, Oklahoma, Lloyd Rodgers and Lafe Rodgers, both of Olney, John Rodgers, Peoria, Newt Rodgers of Seekonk, Mass., Roy Rodgers, Elgin and Elizabeth Brandenberg and Lydia Greenwood, both of Olney, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three
brothers and one sister.
