Services for Coleman E.Rodgers, 69, McAlester, Okla. and formerly of Olney, will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Zirkle Funeral Home with Rev. Neil Brooks presiding. Burial is in Haven Hill Cemetery.

He was born in Olney Jan. 31, 1912 to C.A. and Ruth (Morgan) Rodgers.

He married Bernice Farmer in 1936 and she preceded him in death.

He married Norma Jean Sims in 1957, and she survives.

He was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Elgin, a member of the Elgin Moose Lodge and retired from the Elgin Machine Works.

Survivors include two sons, Charles Spyker, Danville, and Albert Spyker, Baytown, Tx; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Avis) Webb, Olney; five brothers, Truman, Lloyd, Lafe, and Roy all of Olney and Newt of Seekonk, Mass.; two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Brandenburg and Mrs. Lydia Greenwood, both of Olney; and several grandchildren.

Five brothers and a sister preceded him in death.
