Fay was born October 4, 1930 to Harold and Lydia (Eckwortzell) Helmenstein. She was raised on a farm in Oliver County with her 12 siblings. She married Lloyd Albers on October 16, 1949 in Hannover, ND. Together they raised 5 children. She enjoyed quilting, reading, baking, gardening, playing cards and visiting with neighbors.
Fay is survived by her children: Dennis (Marcella) Albers, Debbie (Chuck) Garris, Dorcus (Frank) Roehrich, Damon (Pam) Albers and Denise (Tim) Turnbull; 16 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren; sisters: Vi (Bob) Kobs and Cheryl (Leonard) Shaaf and brother, Virgil Helmenstein.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lloyd in 2001, daughter Dorice, six sisters and 3 brothers.
