Dallas Aanderud was born near Maddock, ND to parents Harry and Alice (Togstad) Aanderud. She was baptized at the Viking Lutheran Church near Maddock on 24 Apr 1936. She was raised in the same area and graduated from BCATS in Maddock. Dallas went on to study at Minot State Teachers College and started her career near Maddock.
She was married to Harold Berglund on 1 May 1955 at the Viking Church. The couple had three children, Larry Erik Berglund, Gay (Bret) Kiemele and Terry Berglund.
She enjoyed making doughnuts and lefse and knitting.
Private family services will be held graveside at the Viking Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, three children and two grandchildren.
