Burial will be in Rosefield Cemetery under the direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home of Columbia.
Mr. Poole died Wednesday morning in Catahoula Parish Hospital at Jonesville after a lengthy illness.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. N. H. Poole Sr. of Enterprise; four sons, David Poole of Athens, Tex., N. H. Poole Jr. of Jena, Hershel Poole and H. L. Poole Sr., both of Enterprise; six daughters, Mrs. Viva Aarons of Vidalia, Mrs. Verda Chapman and Mrs. Mildred Morvan, both of Port Sulphur, Mrs. Vivian Sledge, Mrs. Effie Roark, and Mrs. Jolene McGuffee, all of Enterprise; two brothers, E. C. Poole of Rosefield and Coy Poole of Grayson; a half brother, France Currington of Rosefield; a half sister, Mrs. Aletha Hyde of Rosefield; 31 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
