FAIRBURY - Martha S. Schwisow, 79, Route 1, Fairbury, died Saturday, June 16, 1990, at a Fairbury hospital. Born Dec. 1, 1910 at Onaga, Kan.

Survivors: Husband, August H.; sons, Lonnie and wife Bobbe of Western, Myron and wife Marion of Daykin; daughters, Karen Schwisow of Fairbury, Kathleen and husband Robert Steinkamp of Beatrice; brother, Chester Abitz of Onaga, and Almon Abitz of Wheaton, Kan.; sisters, Mrs. Arnold (Lavina) Vorderstrasse of Plymouth, Frieda Abitz of Wichita, Lydia Schwant of Blaine, Kan., Selma Wegner of Manhattan, Kan., and Metta Figge, Hilda Kufahl and Olga Fairbanks, all of Onaga; eight grandchildren; sister-in-law, Adelina Abbitz (sic) of Wheaton, Kan.

Funeral: 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 19, 1990, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Daykin, Rev. Russell Egeler. Burial in the church cemetery. Memorials to the family choice. Nuckolls-Meyer Funeral Home, Fairbury.
