From a ground reading in the 1980's∼Albert was the son of Soren Martin and Anna Martha Anderson. The family moved to Van Metre in 1908 and Albert grew up there. He worked on farms, ranches and later worked on the section at Van Metre till the section was discontinued and then moved to Midland.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Helene and one brother Anders.
