OBITUARY: LLOYD E. ENGEMAN-1921-2003-Wathena, Kan.- Lloyd E. Engeman, 82, of Wathena, died Sunday, November 16, 2003, at the Colonial Manor of Wathena.
Lloyd was born on Oct. 14, 1921, in Wathena, to Ed and Emma (Haupt) Engeman. He was a lifelong resident of Wathena.
Lloyd is a member of the American Legion of Wathena. He retired from Armour Company after 30 years.
He married Mary A. Fahey on Oct. 1, 1950, in Troy, Kan. She preceded him in death on May 11, 1999. Lloyd was also preceded in death by his parents, one brother and four sisters.
Survivors include: daughter, Linda Prater, Lawrence, Kan., two grandchildren, David Sheppard, Amarillo, Texas; Jennifer Sheppard, St. Joseph; two great-grandchildren; friend, Cora Propheter; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral: 10 A.M. Wednesday, November 19, 2003, at Harman Rohde Funeral Home in Wathena. Burial: Mount Olive Cemetery, Troy. Visitation: family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 8:30 at the Harman Rohde Funeral Home where friends may call after 9 A.M. today. Memorial: Wathena EMS.
