Mr. Engeman was a lifelong resident of Wathena and a retired farmer. He was a member of the Zion United Church of Christ, Wathena.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Jessie Engeman of the home; four sisters, Mrs. Evalena Ritter, Mrs. Luetta Abbett, and Irene Benitz, all of Wathena, and Mrs. Marie Holaday, St. Jo; and a brother, Lloyd Engeman, Wathena.
Services were held Tuesday at the Zion United Church of Christ, Wathena. The Rev. Michael Christensen officiated with burial in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers were Warren Wiedmer, Louis Vertin, Arden Bauman, Vernon Bauman, Walter Engemann, and Wilbur Engemann.
