Services will be at the Herreid Congregational Church for Mrs. Elizabeth Ackerman, 79, today. Reverend Clarence Schulz will officiate. Burial in the Fairview Cemetery.
She was born June 12, 1886, in Odessa, South Russia, and came to America with her parents in 1892. She married George Ackerman in June 1909 at Mound City. He died in 1949.
She is survived by three sons, John G. of Mobridge, Rueben of Herreid, and Walvin G. of Belle Fourche; one daughter, Mrs. Simon (Frances) Moser Jr. of Pollock; one brother, Henry Brockel of McLaughlin, South Dakota, and 11 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, Henry in 1957, a grandson, Roger in 1957, three brothers and three sisters.
