Mrs. Mary Jane Gribble, 76, 1807 Third avenue, South Sioux City, died Monday at a local hospital after an illness of a month. Mrs. Gribble was born July 20, 1876, in Dakota county, Neb. She resided in Dakota county her entire life and in South Sioux City since 1931. She married Thomas Gribble June 28, 1900, at Minot, N. D. She was a member of Salem Lutheran church. Survivors are the widower; two daughters, Miss Gertrude Gribble, South Sioux City, and Mrs. Carol Drayton, Orchard, Neb.; a son, C. W. Gribble, Portland, Ore.; a brother, Will Leamer, South Sioux City; two sisters, Mrs. Dora Broyhill and Mrs. Minnie Hale, both of Homer, Neb., and six grandchildren. The body was taken to the Becker home for funerals in South Sioux City.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary avenue, South Sioux City, who died Monday at a hospital here after a month's illness, will be held at 3 p.m. today at the First Lutheran church, South Sioux City. Rev. Ernest W. Switzer, pastor of the Salem Lutheran church in Dakota City, Neb., will officiate. Burial will be in Graceland Park cemetery. The Becker home for funerals of South Sioux City has charge of arrangements.
