Mae Evelyn (Toliver) Adami, 97, of Washburn passed away at 5:50 p.m. Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at Snyder Village, Metamora.

Evelyn was born March 22, 1923 in Onley, IL the daughter of Robert and Leila Schonert Bailey. She married Warren Toliver and spent 42 years with him until passed away in 1981. She then married Richard Adami in 1998 and he passed away in 2013. Surviving are four children Elaine Foss of Roanoke, Wayne (Sharon) Toliver of Dunlap, Jean (Larry) Bernius of Winder, GA, and Alan (Dee) Toliver of Newton; and seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Ruby, and two grandchildren.
She was member of the Crow Meadow Presbyterian Church and served as an officer and secretary. She was also a member of the Washburn American Legion, and the Women’s Auxiliary. She and Warren moved to the LaRose-Varna farming community in 1945. She raised four children and was an at home housewife and mother. She pursed a nursing career as an L.P.N in later life and worked for Dr. Jay in Washburn for many years.
