Etta Bell Clark Acree, daughter of James Henry Curtis Clark and Mary Elizabeth Darnell Clark was born Sep 9, 1900 in Green County and departed this life Aug 22, 1974 at the Jane Todd Crawford Memorial Hospital. She had made a profession in Christ and was a member of the Fry Baptist Church. She was united in marriage to Perry H. Acree, Sep 20, 1920. To this union was born three sons and three daughters. William, Dewey and Perry E. "Samp" Acree all of Greensburg; Mrs Kay South, Mrs. Margaret Steinway and Mrs. Mae Burton all of Dayton, Oh. Mrs Acree is also survived by two brothers: Leon and Hugh Clark both of Greensburg; eight grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. The remains were at the Cowherd and Parrot Cemetery where services were held Aug 24, 1974 with burial in the Fry cemetery. Rev. W. D. Strader was in charge. Pallbearers were Leslie Buchanan, Dallas Blankenship, Maxie Hancock, James Allen Kelly, Lester Vanarsdale and Thurman Hartfield.
