Birdie E. Peer
TOPEKA -- Services for Birdie E. Peer, 85, Topeka, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Tibbitts-Griffin Funeral Chapel, Topeka. Burial will be in Topeka Cemetery.
Mrs. Peer died Thursday. She was born May 6, 1899, in Palmyra Township near Baldwin. She lived in Baldwin and in Lawrence until 1951, when she moved to Topeka.
She was a member of First Chruch of the Nazarene, Topeka.
Her husband, Charles A. Peer, died in 1942.
Survivors include two sons, Charles M. and James. D., both of Topeka; three daughters, Mrs. Alice R. Allensworth, Topeka, Mrs. Birdie E. Slayton, South Windsor, Conn., and Mary L. Peer Topeka; 23 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
