She grew up in this area and graduated from school in McHenry, ND. Aggie continued her education in Grand Forks, ND at St. Michael's School of Nursing, graduating as a registered nurse.
Aggie was united in marriage to Gordon Hartvikson on November 29, 1943, in Little Rock, AR. In 1946 Aggie and Gordon made their home on a farm near Jamestown, ND. Aggie worked on the family farm and at the Jamestown Hospital as a pediatric nurse, while raising her family.
In 1973, they moved to Perham, MN for a year where they made many dear friends.
In 1974, they made their home in North Fargo and Aggie worked for Eventide Lutheran Home in Moorhead for 10 years, retiring at the age of 70.
After her husband, Gordon passed away in February of 1997, Aggie moved to Park Avenue Apartments in Fargo where she had many very special friends.
Aggie loved her family dearly her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many dear friends and relatives. Her faith and family were the foundations of her life.
Aggie is survived by her children, Ronald (Nancy) Hartvikson of
Aggie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gordon; her brothers, Erv, Stan, and Sam; her sisters, Essie Boelter Tiemens and Mertis Sorenson; and grandson, Brent Sorenson.
Visitation: 1-3 PM Saturday, October 15, 2011, at the Northern Cass School (16021 18th St. SE – near Hunter, ND)
Funeral service: 3 PM Saturday at the Northern Cass School
Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens in Fargo
